Frequently Asked Questions

All You Need To Know.

What happens if my dog won't sit still?

Don't worry! In fact, I'd rather they didn't.

My sessions are designed around your dog's personality. Whether they're bouncing off the walls, chasing every squirrel in sight or prefer taking things at their own pace, I'll work with them to capture natural, authentic moments.

My dog is reactive or nervous. Can they still have a session?

Absolutely.

With over 10 years of experience working with dogs, I've photographed many nervous, shy and reactive dogs. We'll choose a quiet location and work at your dog's pace to make the experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

What should my dog wear?

Nothing at all!

I recommend simple collars or a favourite bandana if you'd like one. Harnesses and leads can often be edited out where possible, helping create a clean, natural look.

Can I be in the photos too?

Of course!

Some of the most treasured photographs are the ones that capture the bond between you and your dog. Whether you'd like a few portraits together or to simply interact naturally during the session, you're always welcome to join in.

Where do sessions take place?

I photograph throughout Surrey, London and the surrounding areas.

If you already have a favourite walking spot, I'd love to hear about it. Otherwise, I'm always happy to recommend beautiful locations that suit your dog's personality.

How long does a session last?

This depends on your chosen package.

There's never any pressure to rush. Your dog's comfort always comes first.

When will I receive my photos?

I will advise when I send you the proofing gallery.

Social Collection galleries are often delivered sooner due to the lighter editing process.

Can I buy extra images?

Yes!

If you fall in love with more photographs than your package includes (which happens quite often!), you'll have the opportunity to purchase additional digital images once you've viewed your gallery.

What happens if it rains?

British weather loves to keep us guessing!

If the forecast isn't suitable, we'll simply rearrange your session at no extra cost. I'd much rather photograph your dog in beautiful light than have you worrying about the weather.

Can I bring more than one dog?

Definitely.

Whether you have two dogs or a whole pack, they're all welcome. I'll capture individual portraits as well as photographs of them together.

Do you photograph puppies?

Yes! Puppies are one of my favourite subjects.

How do I book?

Simply get in touch through my contact form, email or social media.

We'll chat about your dog, choose the perfect package and find a date that works for you. A booking fee secures your session, and then all that's left to do is get excited!

Do you edit leads, harnesses or people out of photos?

Where possible, yes! Leads and distractions can often be removed during the editing process. If there's something specific you'd like removed, just let me know before your session.

What if my dog can't be let off lead?

That's absolutely fine. Many of the dogs I photograph stay safely on lead throughout the entire session. Using careful angles and professional editing, I can often remove the lead from the final images, so your dog still looks like they're enjoying complete freedom.
